Two-day Conferences for School Heads of selected DAV schools from all over India were organized by DAV Centre for Academic Excellence, DAVCMC on 5-6 and 8-9 August 2024. The Conference was held at DAV Centre for Academic Excellence, DAVCMC, Paharganj, Delhi.
 

Aimed at strengthening the academic processes in some of the under-performing DAV schools where Academic Enhancement Programme has been initiated, the Conference saw a participation of more than 100 School Heads. It is worth mentioning that DAVCAE is providing personalized and customized online sessions and modules to Class X & XII teachers of schools in remote/tribal areas with tough terrains, as a part of Academic Enhancement Programme for the session 2024-25. The objective of Academic Enhancement Programme is to achieve 100% results and a hike in QPIs in these schools.
 

The Conference was hosted by Dr. (Mrs.) Nisha Peshin, Director (Academics) and presided over by Sh. Punam Suri, President, DAVCMC. The Speakers at the Conference were : Dr. Nisha Peshin (Director-Academics), Dr. V. Singh (Director-PS), Mr. V.K. Chopra (Director-PS), and Ms. Kshipra Verma, Ms Nimisha Sharma, Ms Rashmi Kathuria (Education Officers, DAVCAE)
 

The two-day Conference focused on important aspects of school leadership such as ‘Significant Role of a School Head’, ‘Effective Academic Planning’, ‘Remediation – What, Why, How & When’, ‘Importance of Regular Follow-ups & class Observations’, ‘Overcoming Challenges’, ‘Knowing your Customer & Neighbour’, ‘Navigating Official Academic Websites’, ‘Mind-Mapping for effective Planning & Execution’ etc.
 

During the valedictory session, Sh. Punam Suri, President, DAVCMC urged the School Heads to enhance their academic processes with tireless efforts, hard work and collaboration with DAVCAE. The Conference concluded with the School Heads offering a planter to the President as a symbolic pledge for 100% results and hiked QPIs in 2025. DAVCAE is dedicated to the noble mission of offering all possible aid to DAV teachers and students for a bright future.
