DAV Centre for Academic Excellence, DAVCMC organised “Charioteers of Change”: A Two-day National Conference for DAV Cluster Heads on 21-22 and 29-30 November 2023 at DAVCMC, Paharganj, New Delhi.
The 89 DAV Cluster Heads from all over India are leading Principals of DAV schools spread across different zones in various states, supervising a bunch of schools in their cluster and managing their holistic growth. The primary objective of the Conference was to sensitise and empower the Cluster Heads regarding their role as Human Resource Developers and Training Coordinators, to ensure Continuous Professional Development of their teachers in order to let the latest teaching-learning practices and educational reforms percolate down to all the stakeholders, specially the DAV students.
The conference was the conceived and inaugurated by Dr. (Mrs.) Nisha Peshin, Director (Academics), DAVCAE; and joined by Dr. V. Singh, Director (PS) and Sh. V.K. Chopra, Director (PS), DAVCMC. Dr. Peshin shared her vision of Brand DAV Quality Education with the Cluster Heads and urged them to handhold and collaborate with other sister concerns to plug-in the lacunae that may be hindering the path to success.
In his valedictory address, Sh. Punam Suri, President, DAVCMC energised and motivated the Cluster Heads to work harder towards their stipulated goals and ensure that the quality trainings organised by DAVCAE reach each and every DAV school.
The Conference had enriching sessions by Dr. Venita Kaul, Secretary, DAVCMC and DAVCAE Faculty. The following themes were dealt with during the Conference using case-study, activity and discussion mode:
