The Language Department of DAV Centre for Academic Excellence, DAVCMC organised Capacity Building Workshops for Master Trainers of English at Primary, Middle & Secondary Level in April, May and July 2023 respectively. Under the able guidance of Dr Nisha Peshin, Director (Academics), Resource Person and Programme Coordinator, Ms Nimisha Sharma, EO, DAVCAE, enriched and augmented the skills of the teachers as per the latest developments and innovations in the field of ELT. The workshops focused on the child-centric, experiential and art-integrated approach to teaching and learning the English language. A special feature of the workshops was the PBL, KSA and Competency-based approach as laid down by the National Education Policy 2020 and National Curriculum Framework 2023.
The Primary Level workshops (for teachers teaching classes III to V) stressed the importance of :
