The Induction Programme for the newly appointed Heads of DAV Public Schools was organised by DAV Centre for Academic Excellence (DACVAE) with an objective to prepare them to handle the new assignment, job and role efficiently.  It commenced on 16 January 2023 and had reached to its culmination on 25 January 2023 in the multipurpose hall of DAVCMC. The 39 Heads of DAV Public Schools from 12 States and 01 Union Territory attended the Programme. 

 

The themes of the Course were mainly eight:  

1. Introduction to DAVCMC- an introduction of my organisation DAVCMC, its vision, mission and goals.

2. Financial Management of DAV Public Schools. 

3. Administrative norms and procedures as laid down by DAVCMC.

4. Social Security Schemes for DAV Employees.

5. Managing Employees – code of conduct for employees and legal aspects.6. Leadership & Staff Motivation.

7. Safety and Security of Schools.

8. Early Childhood Education.

 

In order to seek the blessings of almighty, the programme began with the havan. The participants were guided to perform havan and know its significance every day. They were given the insights on Arya Samaj and its way of living. Dr. S.K. Soproy, Vice President DAVCMC, inaugurated the Induction Programme. During his inaugural address, he impressed upon the desired leadership qualities and skills a school leader needs to develop to grow professionally and succeed at work.

 

During the course, all the themes were taken beautifully by the Directors DAVCMC, Section Heads of different departments of DAVCMC and the faculty DAVCAE. The address of the President, Shri Punam Suri, to the participants in the valedictory ceremony energised and motivated them to perform their duties honestly and encouraged them to proudly carry forward the legacy of Swami Dayanand Saraswati ji.
