With an aim to augment professional development of its teachers across all 900+ DAV schools spread all over the country, DAV Centre for Academic Excellence, DAVCMC conducts regular in-service training of its teachers at all levels from K to 12 throughout the year. The objective of these Capacity Building Programmes, which are a consistent feature of DAV schools, is to enhance the quality of teaching-learning processes with latest innovations in pedagogy and assessment. The training sessions update the teachers with the latest content in their specific subject areas; make them sufficiently competent in effective methods, tools and techniques of teaching and assessment; provide a road map for child-centric, research-based and experiential way of teaching-learning; help teachers devise new and age-appropriate activities to meet individual needs of students; inculcate a habit of self-study for life-long learning among teachers.
