A spectacular "Literature Conclave" was held on 10 June 2022 at Vishnudas Bhave auditorium, Vashi, Navi Mumbai by all the DAV schools of Mumbai and Thane region and brought together eminent guests from the various fields like education, media, literature, performing arts, etc. They all came together to share their experiences with literature and the world of books and words. A panel discussion took place between parents, students, alumni and teachers.
Dr. Nisha Peshin, Director, (Public Schools & Academics) and Dean(DAVUF) spoke about literature and its impact on education. She provided a brief glimpse of her book Let Them Fly-My Tryst with Kids by sharing a few stories and anecdotes.
Throughout the entire event, major emphasis was given to creating awareness about the pursuit of literature and literary studies, and how these can positively impact lives.
